Glacier National Park

This was a beautiful boardwalk trail through a ferny and mossy forest so of course I loved it.

We stopped to play near a river.

You can see the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road in this picture. It is a skinny road up the side of the mountain and it crosses a few waterfalls along the way.

"Mom, take a picture of me with the squirrels."

A beautiful and windy hike to Hidden Lake.

Those silhouettes are Brooke on Steve's shoulders, Maddie and Sage.

Sage, Brooke and Steve headed back to the car while Maddie and I carried onward to the lake lookout.

It was worth the extra effort.

I love these tiny trees. They remind me of Alaska.

Maddie was impressed that this goat followed the rules and stayed on the marked trail.

Logan Pass Visitor's Center.

We took the morning to swim in Lake McDonald. It was crystal clear and very cold but so beautiful. Everyone had a blast!

Including Brooke, who enjoyed the shallow water and colorful rocks.

We rented a stand up paddle board and took the girls out on rides.

Lake McDonald Lodge.

Ice Cream!

The wild flowers were blooming in force including these Bear Grass flowers.

You know you have had fun when you have dirt all over your face.

Mac and Cheese for dinner.

We took a boat tour through two pristine mountain lakes. We even saw a moose.

Junior Ranger Sage.

Getting sworn in as Junior Rangers.

Showing off their Junior Ranger badges.

The girls favorite part might have been picking out souvenirs from the gift shop.

Sage turns 5!

After participating in Maddison's birthday, this little one could hardly wait for her turn.

She wanted an ocean theme for her party. She made paper turtles, decorated ocean cupcakes and played ocean themed games at her friend party.

Little crabs

Baby Shark. Do Do Do Do.

Who needs a fork?

She is such a sweet girl and we just love her so much!
