Camping Trip

Steve took the Young Men to the cabin tonight so it was just us girls. I told Maddie and Sage we could have our own campout.

Firsts!

Maddie lost her first tooth! She was super excited. She put her tooth in the tooth bag and hung the "Tooth Pick-Up" sign on her door so the tooth fairy would know her tooth was ready. She got a teeny tiny note from the tooth fairy and six quarters. 

And Brooke tried her first solid food. She didn't seem to like it, and I'm not sure she even ate any. She spat out most of it. Maybe apple wasn't the right first choice. We will have to try a different flavor in a few days. 

But even after being fed the apples, she still likes Dad.

Cousin Fun!

We got to spend some time with cousins this Thanksgiving weekend. 

First stop was the new Idaho Falls Aquarium. 

Surprisingly, the big hit was the bird exhibit.

Halloween 2017

Bundled up with jackets under their costumes and ready to go. It was pretty cold but not totally miserable. While we were trick-or-treating Sage did say to me, "If you hear my teeth making noise, it's because I'm cold." We still made a decent dent in the neighborhood and brought home plenty of candy which the girls have been so kind to share with Mom and Dad. 

Pumpkin Patch Time!

We mostly had fun at the pumpkin patch this year.

Octtober 18th

We made a quick trip up to the cabin on our Anniversary. We left just after Maddie got out of school on Wednesday and hung out for the afternoon. We were hoping to catch the fall colors. I think we just missed most of them but the weather was beautiful and Steve got to play with a chainsaw.
