What is that brown stuff in our driveway? Could that actually be dirt? We must be entering Spring because the snow is starting to melt and the temps are rising. Yea!! Alaskans don't really call it Spring. They call it "break up," based on the breaking up of ice in the rivers. Whatever it is called, I'm glad it is finally on its way. It also means the bugs are back. I've seen quite a few critters in the house the last few days and some giant sized mosquitoes outside...pretty much the biggest mesquites I've ever seen...ever. So much for hanging out outside.
