Grandma and Grandpa Pfost enjoyed some good cuddle time with Maddison.
We decided to visit the Arctic Circle while Steve's parents were here. It was a long, long drive but we made it and Maddison traveled very well up until about the last hour when she got a little fussy. We drove a total of 406 miles and it took us about 12.5 hours round trip. We drove on the famous "Ice Road Truckers" highway, crossed over the Yukon River, and followed the Alaska pipe line all the way to the edge of the Arctic Circle (where you get one official day where the sun never sets and one day where it never rises. Keep traveling North to the coast and you get 67 days of total darkness in the winter.)
We had a great time and like always, wish the visit could have been longer. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Pfost for a great week!
Looks like fun - we'll have to try the river boat on our next trip. Maddie looks a little older...sigh.
