Mystery Solved

I was transferring wet clothes from the front loading washer to the dryer when I noticed something pink sticking out of this thin crack in the washer. There is a large rubber gasket around the inside of the washer opening that helps seal the door shut. I pulled it back to find a large space under the gasket and found 10 of Maddison's socks inside! The washer really did eat her socks! I never would have found them if one hadn't been sticking out a little. Happy day!
