The Northern Lights are usually best seen in the middle of the night and since we don't like to wake Maddison up, we haven't been in a while. The other night they were suppose to be out so just before Maddison's bed time we decided to drive out to the lake to see if we could catch them. Maddison didn't make it. We were too early and didn't get much of a show either. Oh well.
