We were surprised at lunch today when floats started showing up outside our windows.
Apparently the high school down the street was holding its homecoming parade and it started right in front of our house.
And when there are floats parked in front of your driveway filled with high school kids, and there is a cute kid waving at you, there is lots of candy to be had.
Lots.
Wow! She won't need to worry about trick or treating again. She just needs to show up every year for homecoming.
