For our 10th anniversary we took a weekend trip to Yellowstone (without kids!)
It was snowy and a little chilly but beautiful.
Some places were less snowy than others. It was fun to see the change from fall foliage to winter wonderland and back to fall as we drove around.
There is this place where a very hot spring runs into a frigid river creating hot pools of water. You have to wade through the icy cold water before getting to the hot spots but it was worth it to relax in the river surrounded by the fall beauty!
We got to go on some longer walks since we were without kids.
We visited the Mammoth Terraces which neither of us had seen before.
We had a lovely time. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Pfost for watching all three girls for us!
