Maddie's 7th Birthday!

Maddie wanted a fairy themed party so everyone got wings!

Fairy cupcakes with pink and blue icing. 

She wanted to feel small like a fairy so I decorated with large flowers, bugs and a giant tree.

Lots of little fairies came to her party. 

She had totally grown out of her old bike so she got a new one. 

And because she loves flamingos.....

Happy Anniversary!

For our 10th anniversary we took a weekend trip to Yellowstone (without kids!)

It was snowy and a little chilly but beautiful.

Some places were less snowy than others. It was fun to see the change from fall foliage to winter wonderland and back to fall as we drove around. 

There is this place where a very hot spring runs into a frigid river creating hot pools of water. You have to wade through the icy cold water before getting to the hot spots but it was worth it to relax in the river surrounded by the fall beauty! 

We got to go on some longer walks since we were without kids. 

We visited the Mammoth Terraces which neither of us had seen before. 

We had a lovely time. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Pfost for watching all three girls for us!

End of Summer and Fall catch up.

Brooke is starting to bring books to us and then crawling into our laps to read. It's pretty cute.

A firecracker weekend!

We enjoyed fireworks with the neighbors on the 4th of July.

Then we rented a boat and hit the reservoir. Maddie was a great driver. 

No fish were caught or harmed in the making of this adventure. 

Sage was the cutest driver ever. 

Sage was hesitant to go on the tube but once she tried it, it was hard to get her off.

Back at the cabin, it was a beautiful day!

Milkshakes at the Victor Emporium. The huckleberry, raspberry, marshmallow shake was amazing!

Sage thought her ice cream cone was amazing too.  

And then we celebrated this little one. Happy 1st birthday, Brooke!

And this unicorn spouted water from it's horn! The girls LOVED it!

She was all about the cake! She wasted no time diving in!
