The colors were out this weekend at the cabin. I can't get enough of this view from the deck.
A little light repair work.
While exploring the woods Maddison came running up to me saying, "I found 2 baby porcupines...but I think they are stuck together by something yellow. Some string or something." Of course I had to see what she had found. Any guesses? The answer is at the end of this post.

And Maddie's baby porcupines were....a very fuzzy caterpillar. Ha ha!
Ahhh, Wooly Bear Caterpillar. What an awesome, enjoyable, learning time in the mountains.
