I've been waiting to pick my tomatoes until I was ready to do something with them. I had no idea how many I had until Maddie and I started the great tomato harvest.
Maddison peeled every last tomato by herself and I think there were at least 60 of them!
We made 8 jars of salsa and bottled the rest of the tomatoes.
And after picking, boiling, peeling, chopping, mixing, blending, simmering, pouring, and boiling again I haven't the heart to open the salsa to see how it tastes. All that work...I feel like it needs to stay bottled at least for a few days. Steve might have other ideas.
